Insurance and Payment
At Barnes-Kasson Hospital our billing department strives to bill patient claims efficiently and works with patients to resolve any issues with the insurance companies. Patients are encouraged to be aware of their insurance policies guidelines. Some insurances require that patients be seen by "In Network" or "Participating Providers". Also some testing may require "Precertification".
Please let your physician know prior to ordering a test if you feel that your testing may require "Precertification". Our staff will be happy to look into this and take the necessary steps to ensure that your testing will be covered. *** Patients are responsible for any copays due at the time service is rendered.***
