Provider Spotlight: Dr. Charles Brown, DMD
The Family Health Clinic of Barnes-Kasson Hospital is pleased to feature Dr. Charles Brown as this quarter’s Provider Spotlight. Dr. Brown has been practicing dentistry at the Barnes-Kasson Dental Unit since 2001.
Born and raised in Carbondale, PA, Dr. Brown attended Scranton Preparatory School. He went on to study at the University of Scranton and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh. After finishing school, he completed one year of general practice at the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre in 1977. In 1978, Dr. Brown opened his own private practice in Carbondale, which he continues to operate today. Barnes-Kasson Hospital is a non-profit critical access hospital located in the borough of Susquehanna Depot, Pennsylvania. The hospital has served the residents of Susquehanna County, northern Wayne County, and southern Broome County since 1904. To better serve this rural area, Barnes-Kasson has also established four well-staffed Health Clinics throughout Susquehanna County, a 58 bed Post Acute Care Facility, 24 Hour Emergency Care, and a Dental Office.
